Hello FF members,
We are now offering private coaching in the art of Jiu Jitsu at FF. Jiu Jitsu is the martial art style that was made famous by the Gracie family and MMA. Jiu Jitsu is a complete self defense system for men and women. It includes strikes, clinch, takedowns, ground fighting and weapons. It is also a great sport as well as a great form of strength and conditioning. Jiu Jitsu can improve your life both on and off the mat.
Benefits of private Jiu Jitsu training at FF:
Convenience- many people want to train Jiu Jitsu but they can’t find a local group class that works with their busy schedule. Private Jiu Jitsu coaching at FF is scheduled on the days and times that work best for you.
Less Intimidating- many people are intimidated by a large Jiu Jitsu group class. Private Jiu Jitsu coaching allows you to relax, learn and enjoy your training.
Faster Learning- statistically most people who train in Jiu Jitsu only train 1-2 days a week. When you have limited time to train, private coaching ensures that you are learning and retaining the knowledge correctly and efficiently.
Less Chance of Injury- Training Jiu Jitsu in a large class setting can be potentially dangerous. Some group classes have a “shark tank” mentality and they cater to the 20 year olds who want to be the next UFC champion. Private Jiu Jitsu lessons at FF are centered around the students safety and modifications are made based on the students limitations.
Family/Friend Time- You can have a friend, spouse, family member etc join you for your Jiu Jitsu training.
If you would like more information or you would like to schedule your Jiu Jitsu sessions contact Scott at:
Lowther.Scott@gmail.com or 304-741-9632
FF members receive a 25% discount

We wanted to give a big CONGRATULATIONS to Pam Smith for completing the WV Spartan Trifecta this past weekend. She completed the Beast on Saturday, approximately 14 miles, 35 obstacles and 3700’ of elevation change. And then went back for more on Sunday completing the Spartan Super, 7 miles and 29 obstacles and then followed immediately by the Spartan Sprint at 4.5 miles and 21 obstacles. Pam had set this feat as a celebration of her 60th birthday last year but because of COVID had to postpone a year. This is an incredibly grueling task and we could not be prouder of Pam and all the hard work she has put in day in and day out to be able to achieve this. ... See MoreSee Less
