Coach Willis has been coaching at Firebreather Fitness since 2012. He has competed in many CrossFit competitions over the years - but now he enjoys all that extra time with his family. Willis and his wife just had a baby girl 11 months ago and took that time off to adjust to the life with a baby. ⁣⁣⁣⁣Willis loves the challenge of helping others in their short and long term goals. Everyone has different fitness goals; some come in to get a work out because they have a busy lifestyle & only have an hour to work on themselves. Some come for a few hours because they love the competition side of CrossFit and He loves to make sure you are competition ready. Some are here because they want to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle. ⁣⁣⁣⁣During the spring time Willis an assistant track coach at Huntington High School. ⁣⁣Willis loves the CrossFit community- striving to make sure that everyone who comes in feels welcome. We have our runners that need strength training to become a better runner. “Suck it up, buttercup!” ⁣Those were the words Coach Cam said to Christy that told her she was in the right place. ⁣She started with us the summer Firebreather opened, and it has been her home ever since. ⁣At the time She didn’t know anything about working out, but has learned so much from all the great FF coaches over the years. ⁣She has her CrossFit level one and loves to encourage others…especially when they don’t think they can do one more rep, or take one more step. ⁣She has run the Marshall Marathon, the Charleston Distance run, won her division in the Susan G. Komen 5K, first in the Marshall Pump and Run, and placed first in the 2012 WV CrossFit Women’s 40 + division and first in the 2012 WV CrossFit team division, as a member of the FF team. ⁣Her favorite Hero Wod is “Murph”, because of who and what it stands for. ⁣She especially enjoys coaching the Saturday Morning class, then attending Candace’s yoga class immediately following. ...
